Material Pressure regulator

A material pressure regulator is used to regulate down the material pressure and to minimize the pressure pulsations from a piston pump when dispensing viscous materials. The material pressure can be manually adjusted by locking screw or automatically by an air driven servo. The regulator can be adapted to highly abrasive and corrosive materials. Material pressure can be regulated in the range of 1-200 bar.

The manual regulator is used to regulate down the material pressure and minimise pressure pulsations from a piston pump. The manual regulator can be set and locked at the desired pressure.

Servo Regulated

The servo regulator is accurate and easy to fine tune. Instead of a spring package the servo regulator works with compressed air that gives a smooth regulation. Fitted with an EP-regulator the servo gives remote diectly control of stepless air pressure, directly proportional to an electrical input signal.

The table shows a simplified correlation between set air pressure and inlet material pressure. Set air pressure to 4 bar and an inlet material pressure to 100 bar, gives an even outlet material pressure of 48 bar.
