IP-8000 MKll

For all laminating methods in the GRP industry.
The old IP-8000 series has been widely used and has become a best seller in the GRP-industry. IP-8000 Mk II is the latest development of the now famous IP-8000 series. Utilising proven technology from both the old IP-8000 series and the IP-8 HD machine. It is efficient, clean to use, safe and easy to handle with simple controls for straightforward operation. Equipped with a new catalyst pump and a new designed synchronisation of the pumps for exact catalyst ratio.

OPERATION

Aplicator’s IP-8000 Mk II machine works with an air driven dual-acting piston pump, both for the resin and the catalyst. Manufactured from stainless steel, the catalyst pump incorporates a pressure gauge and pressure relief valve and is synchronised with the resin pump shaft for precise delivery of catalyst. Consequently, it is independent of variations in air supply or material viscosity. Catalyst volumes are easily adjusted with a hand wheel, which changes the stroke length of the catalyst pump. The mixing ratios are continuously variable. Catalyst is pumped directly from the original container. Resin can be pumped from a 25-litre pail, a 200-litre drum, a bulk container or a fixed storage tank. As there is no handling of resin or catalyst in open containers, the overall working environment will be much cleaner and safer. Equipped with a pneumatically operated solvent pump for easy cleaning. To facilitate degassing and function checks the machine is additionally equipped with a unique recirculation system for the catalyst and resin.

INTERNAL MIXING

Aplicator have used the internal mixing system for resin and catalyst for several years, which has consistently proved to be the best method for obviating problems that can occur with incomplete mixing.

FLUSHING

Cleaning the working tool after use is easily carried out using the built-in pneumatically operated flushing pump. Pressing the flush button, will automatically flush the working tool without manual handling of hazardous solvents.

The machine showed on the overleaf might have extra equipment, modifications might have been made since the brochures were printed.
